In loving memory of a life well lived

Dear Lord, I pray for those who grieve over the loss of friends and family. We remember them through tears of sadness mixed together with the joys in the times we spent together. In a life lived to the full. With generosity of spirit and the giving of so much to others. We rejoice in how you taught us to rejoice in the giving genorously. A short prayer for those caught in conflict

Dear Lord, I pray that the conflict zones of the world find some way of resolving into peaceful and safe areas once again. When we see such death and destruction all we can do is appeal to the humanity in us all to bring about peace. The hatered that can rise up between two people, two communities, two tribes, two nations need not always result in conflict and destruction. Peace can be found if sought for. Love for one another can be renewed. If given tenderness and care love can blossom. Fruits and blessings can rain down. Do not let the fuits of the world wither. Bring forth your life restoring gifts every day. All we ask in Jesus name. Amen
