I believe there is a world chess championship taking place.  Normally I would be blogging about such an event but this year due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine I can't and wont. Instead I will be remembering and reflecting on what more I coulld do to help those caught up in such a conflict zone. None of which was of their choosing. The parable told by jesus and written down by the apostle luke in chapter 10 regarding the samaritan who helped a man who had fallen in with theives and poured wine and oils to mend his wounds. Then took him to a nearby inn to be mended and cared for.  Will be in my prayers for the next wee while. I hope they will be in yours too.
