Orion module landed successfully and preparations being made for a human spaceflight to the moon.

After a successful launch by the SLS (Space Launch System) built by the same people that built the space shuttle. The mission successfully tested all systems and capabilities of the module. The uncrewed Orion module was put through it's paces. Before a future crewed mission.  Like the Apollo missions from the 1960s the initial plan is to send the crews on an orbit around the moon and back again. Then attempting a human landing on to the surface. Which has not been done since 1972. That mission was called Apollo 17 and was the last time humans walked on the surface of another orbiting object of the solar system.
