Magnus Carlsen crowned king once more
Magnus Carlsen won the 2018 world chess championship in dramatic style. The 12 match classic time control matches finished with 12 draws with chances for both players. In the end it finished in a tiebreak situation which Magnus won decisively. He now pursues the triple crown of classical, rapid and blitz world champion, with the rapid and blitz world championship being held this year in St Petersburg between the 25th and 31st of December.
