Bahrain grand prix finished with Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Renault 1st, Lotus Renault finished 2nd and 3rd with Kimi Raikkonen 2nd and Romain Grosjean 3rd. Top Merc was Nico Rosberg in 5th and Paul Di Resta finished 6th in the Force-India Mercedes. 4th was the Red Bull Renault of Mark Webber. Poor day for MacLaren as Hamilton finished 8th after a number of poor pit stops and Jensen Button retired with a broken exhaust.

Mercedes qualified 1st and 2nd in China which had not happened since Monza 1955. The lead teams MacLaren, Red-Bull, Ferrari qualified 5th and below. The final result was Nico Roseberg from Mercedes winning his first race. Mercedes first win since Monza 1955. Mercedes engine 1,2,3 with Nico Roseberg in the factory Mercedes winning, Jensen Button in second in MacLaren Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton of MacLaren Mercedes 3rd. Nico won from pole with Jensen Button coming close falling to a slow pit stop. Lots of overtaking behind particularly towards the end of the race after Raikkonan's tyres degraded and Vettel falling to 5th at the end, after being passed by Button, Hamilton and Webber. Great race particularly for the Mercs. The one disappointment for me was Force India failing to make it into the top 10 for the first time this year. Keep up with all the races at f1.com.
