 I know they have a job to do and by and large they do a good job in bringing problems from both close by and far afield to our attention. 

However they are very good at bringing problems to the fore that are irrelevant as well. The job of these  journalists is to proclaim these problems to be the to masses. Helping in solving these problems not so much. They are happy to give their opinions.

Very good at criticism. Worrying about change. Not sure if they are good at taking criticism or so good at problem solving. One journalists worst habits is proclaiming a problem and then never mentioning this problem ever again. 

Tuned in to the BBC where they were worrying over the effects of the rise of social media over the last two decades.

Noted that BBC viewing figures had fallen over the previous decade.
