Round 7 in Summary

2 winning games and 2 drawn game in round 7. 

Another defeat by pre-tournament favourite Levon Aronian this time to tournament leader Fabiano Caruana. 

 Shakriyar Mamedyarov able to quickly find a drawing line against Alexander Grishcuk, Alexander was frustrated at not giving Shakriyar a more complicated game and Shakriyar was happy with a draw and to continue the fight for the chance of winning the tournament.

 Sergey Karjakin was very happy with his first victory of the tournament against Wesley So.

 Ding Liren got into an interesting struggle with Vladimir Kramnik computer analysis gives a slight edge to black until about move 65, however Vladimir was convinced if anyone could win it was the player with white pieces throughout. Ding was in doubt and also felt comfortable with his position. Maybe more discussions along such lines in the future?

Human failure

This blog began as a cathartic exercise. To allow me to express myself in a way that I had not done before. Always the quiet one in the corner. Much preferring quiet discussions than backslapping revelry. We find human failure such a shock sometimes. However it happens all the time. We set people up for failure within our educational system. Things may have changed since my time. In my time they tried to create automotons out of an animal that wants to laugh and play. Perhaps they still do this from where you are. The system put questions before you that very seldom crossed your mind. Do the answers progress your understanding of the world and universe around you? Did the answers make you a better more wealthy person?  The world is a beautifull place and people in it are on the most part wholesome and kind.
