Fifa Elects Its President

Bonjour and Halo. Fifa elects Sepp Blatter once again to be president of the now worldwide international game. The international game which began as a knockabout between rival nations in a park in Glasgow. Which went on to encompass the world. 200 plus nations compete and contribute to the game.

One waits for the reaction of businesses and those who attend and enjoy the game of football.

Maybe there is something about large organizations run by beauricrats for beauricrats. From the outside Sepp Blatter looks like a monarch bestowing gifts, as though from a higher power. Forgetting that football is a sport enjoyed around the world. Not by all, there are other sports. Football does provoke passion in the youth and was devised to bring people together in sporting rivalry. 

An old boys club that lends itself to deals behind closed doors. Unable to change out of fear of loss of power, influence and earnings.

We watch this space to see how things pan out over the next few years for Mr Blatter. For some his time is up. We watch, listen and see.

Human failure

This blog began as a cathartic exercise. To allow me to express myself in a way that I had not done before. Always the quiet one in the corner. Much preferring quiet discussions than backslapping revelry. We find human failure such a shock sometimes. However it happens all the time. We set people up for failure within our educational system. Things may have changed since my time. In my time they tried to create automotons out of an animal that wants to laugh and play. Perhaps they still do this from where you are. The system put questions before you that very seldom crossed your mind. Do the answers progress your understanding of the world and universe around you? Did the answers make you a better more wealthy person?  The world is a beautifull place and people in it are on the most part wholesome and kind.
