Chess - Armenia win Gold
The 2012 Chess Olympiad has finished.
Armenia won Gold in the chess Olympiad. Beating Hungary (2.5 - 1.5) in the final round thanks to a win by Sergei Movsesian against Soltan Almasi,
Russia also won. Winning 3-1 against Germany and ended up tied with Armenia on 9 wins 1 draw and 1 defeat.
Armenia took the Gold on tie-break, with Russia silver and Ukraine 3rd after Ukraine defeated China 3-1.

Scotland finished 76th in the open with 5 wins 1 draw and 5 defeats.
In the woman only competition, Scotland finished 83rd with 4 wins 2 draws and 5 defeats.
Russia won Gold in the women section also thanks to a tie-break, with China winning the silver and Ukraine the Bronze.
